WASHINGTON, DC- One has to believe that when Joe Biden, the unhinged lunatic currently occupying the White House was a student in school, he used to use the “my dog ate my homework” excuse to his teachers. Sixty-something years later, Biden is still making excuses for his failures.
Biden, who has poured gasoline on the fire where the border is concerned sat down with NBC News Thursday, and still refused to acknowledge the ongoing crisis at the southern border, according to the Daily Wire.
Biden fell back on one of his go to excuses, attempting to blame the current scourge at the border on a “seasonal” spike in illegal border crossings, this despite numerous former ICE officials disputing the claim, saying such “spikes” do not typically occur until early summer.
Then, of course Biden tried to blame the current cluster you-know-what on former President Donald Trump, claiming his administration was “shut out” during the transition period between the two administrations.
“The two departments that didn’t give us access to virtually anything were the immigration and the Defense Department, Biden told NBC.
In speaking to Biden’s latest interview, The Washington Examiner said, “It is unclear whether Biden meant the Department of Homeland Security or the Department of Health and Human Services,” when he said “immigration,” since both departments are responsible for illegal alien children at “different points of the process, from apprehension to release to a parent or guardian or otherwise.”
Biden continued, clearly oblivious to the fact that the “overflow” he mentions was caused by his signal that he was “suspending” deportations for 100 days, once again trying to lay the blame on Trump.
“They didn’t have beds, they didn’t plan for the overflow.”
This is of course nothing new for Biden, who has tried to take credit for the success of “Operation Warp Speed,” President Trump’s signature COVID-19 vaccine program.
This, despite the fact Trump had claimed numerous times, to much criticism that every American who wanted to be vaccinated would be able to by May. Biden has said that it was his administration who set and reached that goal, a lie.
In the early days of Biden’s reign of terror, members of his administration, as well as he claimed the Trump administration failed to take appropriate action and make adequate preparations regarding the vaccine effort.
Biden and his minions falsely claimed that the Trump administration had “failed to order enough vaccines” and that there was “no real plan to vaccinate most of the country” when he was sworn in on January 20.
However FactCheck.org disputed those claims, noting that the Trump administration had “contracts in place for plenty of vaccines for all Americans,” and further “there was indeed a plan to acquire and distribute vaccines.”
The Daily Wire said Biden was asked by Jennifer Jacobs from Bloomberg News about his campaign promise to reunite children who had been separated from their parents during the Trump administration and whey, “according to our reporting,” not one child has been reunited with their families during the president’s first 100 days.
“I don’t think that’s true, but that could be,” Biden said.
Q During campaign, you pledged to reunite 100s of children who had been separated from their parents by the previous admin. According to our reporting, in your first 100 days, not one child has been reunited.

Biden once again pivoted to blaming the previous administration.
“The thing is, we don’t know yet where those kids are. We’re trying like hell to figure out what happened. It’s almost like being a sleuth,” Biden said, apparently forgetting he had just said the reporting wasn’t true.
Hey, it was a minute later.
Biden’s campaign announced in October 2020 that, “Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s campaign announced that he would create a task force on his first day in officer that would work to reunite the migrant children that the Trump administration separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexican border,” Bloomberg reported at the time.
Well, to be fair, Biden’s been pretty busy running the country like a two-bit Marxist dictator, so it probably slipped his ever vacuous mind.
Biden claimed that “kids were ripped from their [parents] arms and separated and now they cannot find over 500 sets of those parents and those kids are alone. Nowhere to go. It’s criminal,” Biden said during a debate.
On February 2, Biden signed an executive order “to launch a long-awaited task force to reunite families separated at the border under the Trump administration.”
However on April 7, Axios reported that, “Not one of the hundreds of migrant families separated from President Trump’s zero-tolerance policy has been reunited under Biden this far.”
A senior DHS official told Axios, “Regarding the reunifications thus far, the task force has not directly reunified any families yet, and that’s because we really are trying to build the processes and the information.”
Sounds like a bit of doublespeak to us. Of course, since the Biden administration is following George Orwell’s 1984 playbook to a tee, doublespeak is to be expected.
Law Enforcement Today has reported extensively on Biden’s border crisis. For more on that, we invite you to:
WASHINGTON, DC- A former Trump administration official lit into the Biden administration this past weekend, taking them to task over attempting to lay blame on former President Donald Trump for the disaster at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Tom Homan, former acting ICE director addressed claims that the current crisis at the border was “planned” during last year’s presidential campaign.
Homan, appearing on Fox News’ Fox and Friends told anchor Pete Hegseth that the current administration has undermined the previous, very successful policies implemented under the Trump administration where it concerns immigration policy, including the since-scuttled remain in Mexico policy.
Homan told Hegseth that in 2020, the number of alien minors entering the U.S. was down 70% from the year before. He also said that illegal entry into the country was down anywhere between 50-80%, depending on which month was being looked at.
“Last month, Joe Biden’s policy created a 300% increase in alien children,” Homan said.
“The border is not secure because the Biden administration has undone all the success of the Trump administration. You got a job to do, educate yourself, give me a call, I’ll tell you how to fix it,” Homan continued. “But you can’t go on national TV and say this is President Trump’s fault.”
Homan then went on to lay the blame squarely on Biden and the Democrats, claiming they planned the crisis during last year’s presidential campaign.
“When Joe Biden made those promises during the campaign of ending ICE detention, ending the remain in Mexico program, giving amnesty and DACA and healthcare…”
Homan said those promises are directly responsible for the current border situation, noting that “when you make those types of promises you know they’re going to come.”
He further blasted members of the Trump administration, as well as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for going on national TV and laying the blame on Trump and his team. Homan also said that Democrats cannot go on national television and admit to the American people that they had sold out the country to win an election.
“When you make those types of promises, you know they’re going to come. SO they can’t go on national TV and say we sold out America to win an election. Joe Biden can’t say ‘I folded to the left to get votes and gave up the security of the border.’
“Again, the most secure border we’ve ever seen under President Trump.”
Hegseth then brought up the fact that Alejandro Mayorkas, Department of Homeland Security Secretary had ordered FEMA to the border to help with the situation down there, noting that agency typically deals with “storms, floods and other major disasters, and questioned Homan if this was an admission that the border situation was in fact a “disaster.”
“Absolutely,” Homan said. “Actions speak louder than words,” while then noting that FEMA’s own mission statement, “Helping people before, during and after a catastrophic disaster or crisis” accurately describes the current situation at the U.S.-Mexico border.
“It is a disaster; it is a crisis,” Homan said.
He also noted that “you never saw anyone coming across the border wearing a Trump shirt” while noting that a lot of them were wearing Biden tee shirts coming across.
Meanwhile, Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) laid blame squarely on Biden for the surge of migrants crossing into the country at the southern border.
On Fox News Sunday, Cassidy told host Chris Wallace in response to a question as to what degree Biden’s policies have caused the crisis.
“Empirically it is entirely. You can’t help but notice that the administration changes and there is a surge,” Cassidy said.
Cassidy also noted that one of Biden’s advisers had made a statement in Spanish that the border was not closed, and only changed her mind and claim in English that she had misspoken.
“I can tell you the Spanish version is being heard, not the English,” he said, noting that message is resonating with those coming to the U.S. and those who are sending their children here, even if it means putting them at risk.
“And so when people think they can get in, they begin sending their unaccompanied child on a train ride across Mexico where she may be kidnapped and trafficked, on the hope they’re going to be waved through at the border.”
Cassidy also addressed Mayorkas’ deployment of FEMA to the border.
“They’re sending FEMA for reinforcements—not for today, not for tomorrow, but for three weeks from now,” he said.

Law Enforcement Today has been reporting on the border crisis for months. For more on our reporting we invite you to:
WASHINGTON, DC- Texas Rep. Michael McCaul (R) issued stern words of caution on Tuesday, warning that by summer there will be “probably somewhere around a million people trying to get into this country illegally.”
McCaul, appearing on Fox News Channel’s “The Story” slammed Joe Biden’s border policy, accusing him of creating a “humanitarian crisis.”
“President Biden says he wants us to be humane. He’s actually created a humanitarian crisis.
These poor children, they get trafficked all the way up that dangerous route. And now, we don’t have enough detention space to put them in, and then you’ve got the COVID crisis down there as well. I think they have created the Biden border crisis. They need to fix it,” McCaul said as reported in Breitbart News.
Earlier Tuesday on Fox Business’ “Mornings With Maria,” McCaul said that it was “easier to cross the border illegally into the United States” than it is to tour the United States Capitol after Biden has reversed nearly all of former President Trump’s immigration policies.
Newsmax reported that McCaul said:
“He’s allowing them to come in without applying in Mexico. The catch and release policies are gone now. He stopped the building of the wall.”
McCaul contrasted the halting of construction of the border wall with the razor-topped fence that has been constructed around the Capitol.
He also sharply criticized Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas for sending the wrong message to those who are thinking of entering the country illegally.
“When the secretary of Homeland Security says, you know, don’t come now but maybe come later, it sends exactly the wrong message,” McCaul told Maria Bartiromo.
“We’ve seen this move before when you interviewed me on the Rio Grande River during the Obama administration. We are now going back to that same era.”
On “The Story,” McCaul slammed the administration’s approach to the minors who are entering the country.
“I think it’s not only a threat to these children who are being exploited, but—and they know the laws in our country.
But it’s also a threat to Americans, this population coming in. Biden has cut off these agreements with Mexico, Central America, where they’d have to stay in Mexico to apply for asylum.
“And now, they’re—I’ve seen this before, Martha, and I predict this, by summer you’re going to see, as my governor just said, probably somewhere around a million people trying to get into this country illegally.
And as I’ve said before, it’s ironic that you can get into this country illegally easier than you can get a tour of this Capitol right behind me,” he told anchor Martha MacCallum.
This is nothing new for McCaul. In 2019, he wrote an op-ed on Fox News in which he slammed Democrats for blocking meaningful border legislation some 18 times from coming to the House floor for a vote.
He had accused Democrats back then of “playing politics with people’s lives” while the crisis at the southern border “worsens by the minute.”
Speaking to Bartiromo this week, McCaul expressed concern about the surge in illegals entering the country who are COVID-positive and the fact that even though tests for COVID are taking place, those people, due to “catch and release” are cut loose into the country.
“They test them and then release them onto the streets and they’re trying to figure out how to deal with this policy,” McCaul said.
“It’s absolute chaos down there, Maria and it’s sad because we made a lot of success triumphs under the prior administration to secure the border which is so important, and I believe that Biden with the stroke of a pen has reversed all of this.”
McCaul said that Biden now owns the crisis at the border.
“Within a month, they’ve created a crisis at the border. These are very sophisticated traffickers. Maria, I was a federal prosecutor down there for many years. Their business, they know what they’re doing, they know what our policies and laws are.”
He also blasted the message being sent by the Biden administration, calling it “the worst.”
“It’s basically we’re open for business, come on in, and so now they’re dealing with the crisis at hand,” he said.
“You’ve seen how dangerous it can be. It puts these children at risk as well. But also, the bad actors that could come into the United States worries me, and the drugs and the potential terrorists. This is really sad to see in my home state and all along the southwest border.”
