WHAT IS THE PLOT OF 'WHO KILLED SARA?'

If you're after a nail-biting murder mystery, then oh boy, the streaming giant's latest offering delivers the goods.

The 10-episode Spanish-language series hails from Mexico and follows protagonist Alex Guzmán, who has just wrapped up an 18-year stint in prison after being framed for the murder of his sister, Sara.

As he is released from prison, avenging Sara is first up on his post-jail to-do list. Planning to avenge Sara's death, Alex wants nothing more than to get revenge on the man he believes to be responsible: Rodolfo Lazcano. However, things get complicated when Alex starts a relationship with the youngest Lazcano daughter, Elisa, and ultimately realises Rodolfo is innocent of Sara's murder.

This leads him to uncover the corrupt Lazcano family's darkest secrets, and all we can say is—get ready for the roller coaster.

But don't take our word for it, check out the trailer below to see for yourself.

WHO IS CAST IN 'WHO KILLED SARA?'

Given that Who Killed Sara? is a foreign language series, it only makes sense that the leading cast—while all extremely talented—may not be very well known, which is precisely why we should keep an eye out for them.

Leading the Who Killed Sara? cast is Manolo Cardona as Alex Guzmán, who was wrongly convicted of his sister's death; Ginés García Millán as César Lazcano, the head of the Lazcano crime family who Sara was closely linked too; and Carolina Miranda as Elisa Lazcano, the youngest member of the Lazcano family and in Alex's eyes, is the only person who knows what really happened to Sara.

Joining the trio is Alejandro Nones as Rodolfo Lazcano, Fatima Molina as Clara, Eugenio Siller as José María Lazcano, Ana Lucía Domínguez as Sofia, Luis Roberto Guzman as Lorenzo Rossi and Héctor Jiménez as Elroy.
