Desperate search for twin sisters Poppy and Lily Myers missing for five days

Police are desperately searching for twin girls who have been missing for over five days.

13-year-old sisters Poppy and Lily Myers vanished from Egerton Road, Twickenham on April 3 sparking a hunt for the pair.

The Met said the twins were last seen together at home on April 3 and are thought be in the Northwood area but have strong ties to Hillingdon.

Police believed that they have been in contact with friends this morning and urged parents of their friends to check if they have heard from them.

Police describe Poppy as having blondish, shoulder-length hair, is 5’02” tall and of slim build. She was last seen at home wearing a long, white coat and knee-length riding boots.

Lily is described as having brown hair, 5’02” tall, and of slim build. She was last seen on April 3 at her home wearing black platform boots and black trousers.

A missing person investigation is ongoing led by officers from the South West Area Command Safeguarding Unit.

A Met spokesman urged the public to call 999 if the pair are spotted,

He added: “In particular, we would urge parents who believe that their children may be friends with Poppy and Lily to find out if they have been in touch and to contact police with any relevant information.”
