In addition to four days packed with sessions from leading industry speakers, there will be two free community events, featuring sessions by Kohsuke Kawaguchi and CTO of Gradleware, Ken Sip. On June 21st, 2011, CI Circus kicks off with an afternoon Jenkins & Gradle Hackathon. Bring your laptops and get involved – this is your chance to code collaboratively with your peers and industry experts. After a full afternoon dedicated to CI, there will be a second Community Event which tackles the burning topic of cloud computing. Go beyond the hype, with JAXconf’s ‘Cloud Jam‘ evening, where attendees will be shown the reality of the different approaches taken by the current major players in the cloud: Amazon, Google, JBoss, SpringSource, and more! This unique mix of talks and interactive hacking session will give attendees the chance to experience what it really means to bring a complex open source project to the cloud.
Registration for both of these Community Events is free, and open to non-JAXconf attendees, and attendees alike!
