Yahoo! is the second largest search engine after Google. People from lots of countries use Yahoo! as their default search engine. But, when we check our website’s statistic in Google Analytics or any good stats checker tool, we always found the traffic referred by Yahoo! negligible. Google contributes over 80% of total website’s traffic even sometimes AOL, Ask, Dogpile, etc. refers more visitors to our website then Yahoo! search engine.
Why this happens?
Well, there could be many reasons for this cause but the main reason is that your website is not getting indexed by Yahoo! search engine. While at Google, your website can be indexed by just pinging its crawler using popular pinging tools, for Yahoo! indexing your website is somewhat tricky.
