Hey guys! boy it’s nice to be back, and fill your brains with informationz that I read online, so here it goes! Other than the title we’ve got some pretty cool stuff, TLoU options, an Update to The Evil Within Release date, too!

PS Vita Games:

The Unfinished Swan – Rated for PS4, Vita

Metrico - Release date – 6th August

The Walking Dead: Season 2 Episode 4 ‘Amid The Ruins‘ – Release Date -for PS3,Vita, 360 and PC on July 22

There’s also something reasonably interesting about a new trademark Sony have put down, to be specific SCEE (The European division).

From the description it seems like a game, but also a bit more. Here’s what it says:

9 Computer game software; computer software for video games or for games machines; video games; electronic devices for the wireless receipt, storage and/or transmission of data and messages; downloadable electronic publications; sound and/or video recordings featuring music, entertainment and/or games.

28 Toys, games and playthings; computer game apparatus; electronic games; computer games apparatus adapted for use with an external display screen or monitor; video game machines; portable games with liquid crystal displays; computer peripheral devices for playing computer games; computer games controllers; electronic apparatus and instruments all for use in computer and video gaming; handheld electronic games; handheld computer games; bags and cases adapted or shaped to contain any of the aforementioned goods.

41 Electronic games services provided by means of the Internet; Internet games (non-downloadable); arranging of games; organizing of games; education; entertainment services; entertainment services provided online and/or via a computer database for matching users for the transfer or sharing of computer games, music, video and audio recordings via communications networks; organizing, staging and the provision of on-line tournaments; entertainment by means of wireless television broadcasts; provision of customized web pages for featuring game player information, including information regarding a player’s identity and the player’s preferences; the provision of on-line electronic publications; information relating to all of the aforementioned.

So, key quotes.
‘Computer game software’ so it’s a game, that one was obvious anyway
‘Toy games and Playthings, Computer Game Apparatus’ This one is interesting, it made me think of Skylanders and what they’ve done.  ‘Electronic games services provided by means of the Internet’ Could this mean that it’ll be streamable?

If I had to guess as to what ‘The Hungry Horde’ was, I’d bet on Sonys own take on the skylanders series, being as ‘horde’ means more than 1 so ther ecould be multiple characters, and if the game could involve ‘computer game apparatus’ that could be the small stand you put the character on to switch.

A new game for Xbox One, PS4 and PC that was shown at E3 that seemed to have slipped through the cracks, finally got it’s bit on the media today, named STYX: Master Of The Shadows, I’m guessing you’re intelligent enough to guess what type of game it is.

They released a trailer for the game recently showing a few felatures it has, and it does have the infamous extended hearing ability, like all modern games.

Here’s the new trailer:

And the E3 gameplay:

The developers are Focus Interactive, and the games website is:

The Evil within has had a bit more news about it, and good news!

it’s quite often nowadays, that we hear about game delays. GTA V, The Last Of Us, DriveClub, and wasn’t Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag delayed by a week or so?

Well not with The Evil Within! No siree, The release date has been moved from October 21st, to October 14th for US and 17th for EU, so I guess that’s a bit less of a wait.

But still, the game was originally delayed from August to the date above. but at least with this news gamers won’t be as annoyed… hopefully, Atleast they didn’t do a GTA and delay it by 7 months…. then delay online heists untill whenever they’re ready.

Time to move onto The Last of Us: Remastered now, there;s been quite a bit of news on it infact, but the most significant could probably be that it’s finally gone gold, and ha been sent to the prints to be copied into the millions, this was announced on 14th by Mike Yosh through his twitter page, here’s the tweet:

Okay, the other news I spoke about that was released recently, was about the new added features in the game. these include and option in settings to lock the frame rate at 30FPS, along with a photo option to take photos, I’m guessing much like the one in inFamous: Second Son, it was announced that the game would come thing these bonuses too:

Included With the Game

  • All major add-on content – Abandoned Territories Map Pack, Reclaimed Territories Map Pack, Left Behind Single-Player Expansion
  • Grounded difficulty mode
  • Cinematics commentary track with Neil Druckmann, Troy Baker, and Ashley Johnson
  • All add-on content (skins, weapons) is cross-buy between PS3 and PS4
  • Additional add-on releases planned for 2014

They also listed the technical improvements of the game, now I’d like to see how 60fps holds up being as they’ve implemented a locked at 30fps feature.

Technical Improvements

  • 1080p/60fps in single-player and multiplayer
  • Texture maps are 4x more detailed, shadow maps 2x
  • Higher resolution particle effects
  • Occlusion mapping on decals
  • No texture streaming
  • Longer draw distances, better LOD
  • Expanded audio menu options
  • Lock frame-rate at 30 frames-per-second option
  • Swap trigger and thumbstick controls
  • DualShock 4 support includes the touch pad, light bar, peaker

As we al know, Sony love their conferences, be it at E3, TGS, or at  a private event, they’re always the ones to hit a home run whilst presenting.

Well they’ve recently announced their Gamescom conference time and date,  on August 12 at 6PM GMT Convert to your time zone here

Man, looks like I’ll be booking this day off to watch it.

So here’s our WTH story of the week, and it consists of a games company being sued. Pretty normal, right?

Well not this time, because the person suing  games company turns out to be a former dictator of Panama, Manuel Noriega because he’s not happy with how he was depicted in CoD: Black Ops II, as a villainous kidnapper, murderer and enemy of the state which he isn’t too happy with, and I wouldn’t be either.

Remember guys.

Villains have feelings too.

I bet he still had fun playing the game anyway
