Baseball Legends are a Short Drive from Milton KOA
Welcome to Milton KOA
Tucked into the rolling hills of southern Wisconsin, this family-friendly campground offers grassy, level sites, surrounded by blooming gardens and expansive grounds.
You’ll appreciate the modern facilities that include an 8,000 square-foot clubhouse with a game room, TVs, a meeting room and more! Relax on the two-story pool deck or take a refreshing dip in the heated pool with a waterfall.
Play a game of softball, disc golf, sand volleyball or horseshoes at the 4-acre recreation area. Wooded trails are perfect for a relaxing walk. You’re close to both city and country pleasures here. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as you drive past dairy farms and green pastures on your way to one of the area’s many golf courses.
Boaters can cruise the waters of 10,000-acre Lake Koshkonong or check out the chain of four lakes near Madison. The capital city and the University of Wisconsin campus (45 minutes north) offer cultural activities, sporting events and even more entertainment.
Visit Two Legendary Baseball Stadiums
In addition to our many amenities and activities, let Milton KOA be your RV home base for visits to two of the most legendary stadiums in Major League Baseball. Start with the world famous baseball institution – Wrigley Field, in Chicago, Illinois
Less than a two-hour drive from us, the oldest park in the National League and the second oldest park in the MLB, Wrigley Field is the last of only two stadiums where legends like Jackie Robinson and Babe Ruth actually played. Home of the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs, the stadium was built in 1916 and has also housed two professional football teams.
The historic stadium holds daily tours that allow you to step into the visiting team locker room and on the home plate itself.
Once you have finished visiting Wrigley, head back to Wisconsin and visit the home of the 2018 NLCS Champion Milwaukee Brewers.
Even closer to us, Miller Park is only a short one hour drive. Built in 2001, the stadium is one of the newest in MLB and features North America’s only fan-shaped convertible roof (which can be opened and closed in less than ten minutes), full walk-around stadium seating arrangements, plenty of great local Wisconsin beer and some of the best tailgating in sports.
Catch a game with one of sports smallest fan-bases and experience a truly unique experience. Plus, relish in Bernie Brewer, the team mascot who slides down a slide 30 feet in the air, every time the Brewers score.
