OLIO

Flashy new restaurants are exciting, but most of us will head to a place that holds memories, and feels familiar. Which is why we keep going back to Olio at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel.

Olio is an Italian restaurant that offers traditional dishes but with a contemporary outlook on one of our most loved cuisines. Within it, you can find Italian delicacies that are hard to find in the heart of Kuwait. Rated as the number one Italian restaurant on Trip Advisor in Kuwait, Olio recently won the Best Italian Restaurant Award at The World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards.

The Mediterranean Lifestyle restaurant is all about respecting Italian cuisine’s roots, traditions and heritage but staying firm in the modern world. You will have a wide selection of signature appetizers, freshly made in-house pasta, oven-fresh pizza and typical Italian main courses as well as delicious desserts to choose from. The chefs only use traditional ingredients for an authentic experience. The specially selected Italian music is the perfect background to the breathtaking beach-view terrace that together transport you to a cozy Italian village on the coast of the Mediterranean.

From the Burrata, to the Parmigiana di Melanzane, the new Antipasti and Insalata choices highlight the flavors and taste of Italy. If you prefer something heartier, a soup like Velutata di Porcini is satisfying for the cooler months. The pasta at Olio is made in-house by specialized chefs. So, whether you order a lasagna or the Ricotta and Spinach Tortellini you will be enjoying something that was made fresh just for you.

Crafted to perfection by Executive Chef Pascal Etienne, Olio’s new menu takes guests on a culinary tour with traditional dishes inspired from all over Italy, and ingredients sourced both locally and from as far as Italy to ensure that the tastes are authentic.

“The new menu showcases the exceptional range of authentic, Italian cuisine on offer at Olio Restaurant. It highlights classic dishes using this season’s ripest ingredients. The highlight of this menu is not only its innovative use of great, fresh flavors, but also its commitment to seasonality and responding to the growing trends and demands of our guests.” Commented Executive Chef Pascal Etienne.

Olio is more than a restaurant, it is the shared moments of joy enjoying a hot pizza from the wood- burning oven, creamy fresh pasta and a flavorful risotto. Everything is sweeter and more complete with a sip of cappuccino and a bite of tiramisu. It is a little slice of Italy in the heart of Kuwait.
