Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4+ are Samsung’s latest Android-ready laptops
Samsung Electronics as just released its fourth generation Chromebook laptops (that’s right, plural because there are two of them) sequel to Chromebook 3.
The brand new laptops with Chrome OS are now available in the US at a great price tag considering that they come with Google Play store access, thus you can download and install any Android app or game available.
Samsung Chromebook 4+ costs 300 dollars and is the more interesting of the two featuring a 15.6-inch LED display with Full HD screen resolution and tiny bezels. The smaller Chromebook costs only 230 dollars and offers an 11.6-inch LED HD display.
Both sport stereo speakers, a 720p HD camera for video chat, are equipped with Intel’s Celeron N4000 processor, 6GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB internal storage, memory expandable via a multi micro SD card reader, and more importantly Gigabit Wi-Fi 5 connectivity.
Chromebook 4 weighs 2.6 pounds, the larger model 3.75 pounds so they are very light weight and slim to use even for a second grader.
Samsung promises up to 12.5 hours of usage with the smaller model, and up to 10.5 hours on the larger fourth generation Chromebook series laptop.
