Around Here: September 2021
Hello, friends! Here is a little bit about life around here right now:
I look forward to a new episode of Ted Lasso every Friday. The writing is great. The characters are complicated and interesting. The show is full of pathos.
He's not much of a baby anymore. He's 22-months-old -- almost a two-year-old! I think I should start calling him a little boy.
He's still the sweetest little guy and so loving. The transition to 3-days-a-week of daycare hasn't been easy for us, but we are working on it and it's getting better. COVID makes things a bit more difficult than usual as parents aren't allowed into the school at all. We've found the books Llama Llama Misses Mama and Rosie Goes to Pre-School to be very helpful. If you have any other book suggestions, let me know!
Current art crush?
Okay, so this isn't really a single person. It's an aesthetic. I follow a shop in Australia called, Jumbled -- their instagram handle is "jumbledonline." I love almost everything that they sell in their shop. And while I'm probably not heading to Australia any time soon, I love being inspired by the artwork and design pieces that they sell. Here's a small sampling:
They sell the work of so many talented artists and there's also such a wonderful sense of joy and fun in all of their posts. I love seeing what they're sharing every day. Their posts make me happy.
So, there you have it! That's the scoop on life around here at the moment. I hope that you are looking forward to Halloween as much as I am!
Thanks for stopping by!
