Liverpool are battling it out with Chelsea to secure the summer signing of Ryan Gravenberch from Ajax, according to the Daily Mail, and Reds supporters have been reacting on Twitter.

The report claims that the teenager is valued at £30 million and will have at least two Premier League clubs after him during the summer. Both Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel are thought to be keen to sign him.

Dutch midfielder Gravenberch is undoubtedly one of European football’s top wonderkids and bringing him to the Premier League would be an amazing coup by either club.

The classy player has made 36 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and claiming six assists.

Ajax lost 2-1 to Roma last night in the first leg of their last eight Europa League clash and have it all to do in the second leg.

They could have some work to do in the summer when it comes to keeping hold of their prized asset, with clubs beginning to show concrete interest in the young talent.
