Cajun Air Fryer Pasta Chips
You may have seen these air fryer pasta chips on TikTok and trust me, you won't be sorry you made them! With only a few ingredients and steps, these are so easy to make and so delicious.
WHAT ARE SOME TIPS FOR MAKING THIS RECIPE?
The first tip is to make sure to cook your pasta al dente. Remember that they will cook further in the air fryer.
The second tip is don't overcrowd the pasta chips. It's important that each one gets cooked, so you may have to cook them in two different batches depending on the amount you are making.
ARE THEY SPICY?
Cajun seasoning can have a little kick to it, but you can always add more or less of the seasoning depending on your ideal spice level. I think the amount I have listed in the recipe is perfect but feel free to make it your own!
You can use any brand of Cajun seasoning you prefer or even make your own. My favorite Cajun seasoning…and I have tried MANY…is Slap Ya Mama All Natural Cajun Seasoning Original Blend. I use this on so many foods…from fried eggs to Cajun Breakfast Cups!
The first time I ate pasta chips, my daughter made them and I couldn't believe how tasty they were. There are only three ingredients needed to make these delightful Cajun Air Fryer Pasta Chips and the process is so simple, anyone with an air fryer can make these chips. Here are the three ingredients:
- Bow-tie pasta
- Olive oil
- Cajun seasoning
HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER PASTA CHIPS
I can't say it enough, this recipe is a BREEZE to make. You cook your pasta, drain, toss in olive oil and cajun seasoning, and air fry. That's all there is to it! You will have your pasta cooked and in the air fryer in less than 15 minutes, so it makes for a great snack.
STEP ONE: BOIL PASTA
Boil your water, add in salt and then boil your pasta until it's al dente. After it's done cooking, make sure to drain but do NOT rinse the pasta.
STEP TWO: MIX INGREDIENTS
After draining your pasta, add to a bowl along with your olive oil and cajun seasoning. Make sure to toss it well so that each noddle is coated evenly. You don't want pasta chips with way too much seasoning or pasta chips with no flavor!
STEP THREE: AIR FRY
Make sure to generously grease the basket with non-aerosol oil spray.
Then add in your unfinished pasta chips and arrange them in a single layer.
Lastly, air fry them while shaking the basket every couple of minutes to ensure all the pasta chips are being cooked evenly.
