Recipe for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies | No Butter & Vegan
All you need for this recipe is 1 box of Devil’s Food Cake Mix, as shown in my youtube video, and crunchy peanut butter, aquafaba (liquid from a can of chickpeas), vegan sour cream or coconut yogurt and a dairy-free chocolate mix of your choice!
The first thing that you want to do is preheat your oven to 350F. Then line a baking sheet with parchment or a silicone baking mat. Next, you want to add your aquafaba into a bowl with a hand mixer, or a stand mixer, and mix it so it gets light and foamy like an egg. Then, add the coconut yogurt (or whatever vegan yogurt you love) or even vegan sour cream, and beat that until it’s combined. Now add the cake mix and the peanut butter and mix it all together until well combined!
Then, stir in your dairy-free candy of choice; I used a dairy-free coconut candy mix with chocolate chips! But dairy-free peanut butter cups are also a great choice. Using a tablespoon, place scoops of dough onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 7 to 9 minutes. Cool for 3 minutes on cookie sheets. Afterward, place on cooling racks.

Save/Print This Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe
- Position the rack in the center of the oven and preheat your oven to 350F.
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment or silicone baking mats.
- Using a bowl with a hand mixer, or a stand mixer; beat the aquafaba until it's fluffy like a beaten egg white.
- Mix in the coconut yogurt or vegan sour cream.
- Stir in the boxed cake mix and peanut butter until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate candy of choice.
- Using a tablespoon, place scoops of dough onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool 3 minutes on cookie sheets first, then carefully transfer them to cooling racks.
