Carhartt is more than just workwear -- they also offer stylish, comfortable pieces.
Carhartt is a familiar brand in workwear, but it's grown into so much more. Starting out as a family-owned business in 1889, it created their famous bib overalls for railroad workers in Detroit. It's still family-owned today and headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan -- and is a trusted brand of our team.
You're probably familiar with the Carhartt beanie, which has become a staple piece in leisurewear in 2022. Carhartt's beanie was originally designed as a workwear essential, but it now serves as a comfortable and stylish everyday favorite. The A18 hat isn't going anywhere, and the popular beanie comes in over 15 colors, so find your favorite to level up your most comfy outfits. While we can't help but obsess over the beanie, we also rounded up some of our other favorites from the brand. Think: T-shirts, leggings, and hoodies that we think everyone who loves comfy, functional pieces should add to their wardrobe. They're perfect for year-round wear, and will make great holiday gifts -- like for Mother's Day, Christmas, and more. So style yourself (or your favorite person) with fashionable Carhartt gear that will never go out of style. These picks are comfy, cute, and perfect for any budget. See which pieces deserve a spot in your closet.
1. One of Our Favorite Hats
Carhartt's famous rib knit beanie is a year-round accessory. Whether it's 65 degrees outside with a breeze or 40 degrees and cold, you can catch me in my beanie -- I went with a neutral color to match lots of clothing in my closet, but you can definitely match the brighter colors with neutral outfits as well. It'll add a pop of color to your outfit effortlessly and is one-size-fits-all. There are over 2,400 perfect five-star reviews of this hat on the Carhartt site, so don't just take our word for it.
2. A Relaxed T-Shirt with a Pocket
T-shirts that offer UPF protection and cooling technology are a must -- and this staple with a relaxed fit will keep you cool by wicking away sweat, drying fast, and utilizing mesh on the sleeves for extra breathability. It also fights odors. If you sweat a lot in your T-shirts, you'll notice the difference when you wear this one. The short-sleeve shirt also offers protection against stains, and it comes in four colors and ranges from sizes XS-XXXL.
3. A Comfortable & Loose-Fitting Long Sleeve Option
Long-sleeve T-shirts are the best. They protect you from the sun while working outdoors and are versatile (wear them with Carhartt work pants, leggings, or jeans). The loose fit of this shirt offers comfort and feels roomy, and we love the pocket in the front. This 100% cotton jersey pick comes in sizes XS through 3X, and is available in four colors. Reviewers love that it's on the longer side, but not so long -- so you can tuck it in or keep it untucked, depending on your mood.
4. A Well-Made Hoodie for Staying Cozy
Stop stealing his hoodie and get your own (or ask for one, of course). I'm a huge fan of hoodies for those days I need to run some errands, I just put a nice, clean hoodie on with fresh kicks. I love this graphic sweatshirt option, and it's so comfy that I could sleep in it. It's made of heavyweight fleece (fleece is one of the best fabrics for staying warm in cold conditions) and is brushed on the inside for extra softness. It has a relaxed fit, goes up to size 3x, and comes in a variety of colors.
5. This Versatile Pair of Leggings
These utility leggings are exactly what I was looking for -- between hobbies like horseback riding and doing light work around the house. These mid-rise leggings move with you and feel comfy while still giving off a clean, uniform look. And no, these are not leggings for the gym -- they are the perfect leggings for work and casual events since they're a mixture of skinny jeans and leggings. The lightweight fabric wicks sweat and fights odor, which is great if you're working outdoors. They're made of 95% nylon and 5% spandex ponte. Since they are very stretchy, they were a bit big on me -- so try sizing down. Otherwise, I'm very impressed with how stretchy they are. They'll look great with western boots, work boots, and riding boots. They have regular and tall lengths and go up to a size 3x.
