Tuesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Gottlieb says breakthrough Covid infections more common than people realize due to weak monitoring Anyone who received a Covid vaccine in the earliest stages of the rollout should register for their booster shots because “there’s probably more infection happening among the vaccinated population” than the U.S. is currently monitoring, Pfizer board member Dr. Scott Gottlieb told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Monday. The effectiveness of Covid vaccines is proven to diminish over time, and Gottlieb said breakthrough infections are likely to occur in individuals almost a year removed from becoming fully immunized. But boosters offer an “almost immediate” effect of restoring the antibody protection offered by vaccines to their original levels, the former Food and Drug Administration commissioner noted. “At this point I think we need to accept that there’s a lot of breakthrough infections happening, particularly people who are out a significant portion of time from their original vaccination,” Gottlieb said. “There’s probably more infection happening among the vaccinated population, more spread happening in that population, the unboosted portion of that population, than what we’re picking up because we’re just not systematically tracking this.”
Special Guest Dr. Patrick Flynn
Dr. Flynn is Chiropractor and the founder of The Wellness Way. As a young child, he was labeled ‘troubled’ because he had a difficult time learning, focusing, and existing within the school system. Years later, as a teenager, he went through a series of events that led him to discover he had immune issues which contributed to his neurological setbacks. This discovery inspired Dr. Flynn to begin his journey defining his purpose and initiating his pursuit of education.
He has attended numerous colleges and took countless courses from learning institutions including the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and Marinette, Scott College, Northwestern Health Sciences, National Health Sciences, Palmer College of Chiropractic, and Harvard Medical School— HMX Fundamentals Online Certificate Program- Immunology. His education contributes to his expertise in immunology and hormones.
Within his 21 years of practice, he trained thousands of doctors on a different approach to healthcare and continues to do so today. There are currently 80 practicing clinics across the world. Dr. Flynn is also the author of an international bestselling book— I Disagree: How These Two Words Are the Secret to Thinking Differently and Taking Control of Your Health. He makes an impact by hosting seminars for the public called The Hormone Connection.
Despite his numerous accomplishments, he states he is a small-town country boy that came up with an idea to help people.
THE WELLNESS WAY
With his new understanding of health, Dr. Flynn became a champion for change and was committed to disrupting the standard approach to care so that every person could achieve the total wellness they deserve.
He wanted to change lives for the better, so with a small loan of $500 from his mother, Dr. Patrick started The Wellness Way. When patients started seeing life-changing results, Dr. Patrick opened more clinics with more doctors in communities all across Northeast Wisconsin.
The network continued to grow, bringing life-changing health information to patients traveling from near and far. Before long, Dr. Patrick developed training materials and partnered with doctors around the world to create a health movement that does more than improve health, but transform lives – including his wife Christy, who is now pain-free and the mother of four beautiful daughters.
A HEALTH RESTORATION MOVEMENT
The growth of The Wellness Way means it’s not just Dr. Patrick’s story anymore, or the story of hundreds of people from clinics all over the world. It’s the story of everyone whose health and lives have been changed.
The Wellness Way started when Dr. Patrick started doing health differently. It grew because of the amazing people he met along the way. This isn’t the story of changing the health of one man, or his wife, or even his community. It is about a community that is creating a culture that is spreading across the globe – changing the health paradigm, and bringing hope where there was none.
This is the story of restoring health to tens of thousands of people.
Everybody has a story—it’s a unifying factor that we can all relate to and learn from. When it comes to health, that story can be tragic or transformational (and sometimes both.)
What’s your story? Has a medical professional ever told you:
- Nothing can be done.
- It’s all in your head.
- Just take this and you’ll be fine.
- All of the Above?
You are not alone. Chronic conditions are at an all-time high. Despite medical advancements, we are sicker than ever. Something needs to change! It’s time to disagree.
What you’ll find in this book is a story that is changing lives across the country and empowering people to think differently. Thinking differently is where perspectives are transformed, improvements are made, and changes take place. And from Dr. Patrick Flynn’s experience with thousands of patients, these changes are for the better.
Heavily inspired by his wife and her journey through medicine, Dr. Flynn developed his unique approach and mode of thought. In these pages, Dr. Flynn shares their story and the resulting mindset that is impacting the health and lives of countless people. The “I Disagree” way of thinking understands that just because something is common, does not mean it’s normal. Through his work, Dr. Flynn and The Wellness Way clinics are changing lives, restoring hope, and getting results. By the time you finish reading, he hopes you find the strength to disagree too. It’s time to embrace your life and take control of your health!
Special Guest Lesa Moss Painter
Lesa was a hospital corpsman in the Navy and believes she was injured by the Anthrax vaccine in 2006. She received little training about vaccines in the medial field when she served, but has researched extensively about them since she separated. Her son was born in 2011 and was not vaccinated, but he developed autism at 5 years old. She thinks this was due to the PEG/Miralax since he was on that drug.
Officials: Lack Of Vaccinated Nurses Forces Closure Of Long Beach Emergency Room A Long Island hospital has been forced to shut down a satellite emergency room because of a staffing shortage. Vaccine hesitancy is having a direct impact on health care in the city of Long Beach. The barrier island’s only emergency department stopped taking patients Monday, CBS2’s Carolyn Gusoff reported. Sal Gaimalveo was one of the last patents seen at the Long Beach ER before operations shut down at 3 p.m. due to a shortage of vaccinated nurses. “It’s horrible. So what? Are we going to be transferring everyone to Oceanside?” Gaimalveo said. Yes, the only emergency room on this barrier island is operated by Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital. Its main ER in Oceanside is a 15-minute drive away. Its president says 99% of hospital staff is vaccinated, but 70 holdouts, including eight ER nurses, are forcing the closure to comply with the state’s vaccine mandate. “We were told as of Monday they could not work anymore,” Dr. Avhi Sharma said. “We lose those nurses as of midnight. We could not continue to staff two different emergency departments with the number of nurses we have available.”
Buttigieg says vaccine mandate for U.S. flights isn’t necessary Despite a recent push from dozens of lawmakers for the United States to add a vaccination requirement on domestic flights, the prospect of a federal mandate is looking slim. During an interview Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said strategies other than a vaccine mandate — such as requiring masks and vaccinating travel industry workers — are “highly effective.” The Transportation Security Administration has extended the federal mask mandate for planes, airports, trains and other mass transportation through Jan. 18, 2022. Host Chuck Todd pressed Buttigieg on the issue, questioning whether he was nervous about putting a policy in place that was politically divisive. The back-and-forth came at the beginning of the busy Thanksgiving holiday season in which TSA expects to screen about 20 million people. At the same time, new daily reported coronavirus cases in the United States have risen 12 percent over the past week, according to data from The Washington Post. “If we’re trying to get to the end of this pandemic, continuing to have sort of loopholes to avoid a vaccine seems to elongate this pandemic,” Todd said.
U.S. not heading toward COVID lockdown, White House says The United States does not need to impose a lockdown or shut down its economy to curb the spread of COVID-19 and will rely on other tools, White House COVID-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients said on Monday. “We are not headed in that direction. We have the tools to accelerate the path out of this pandemic; widely available vaccinations, booster shots, kid shots, therapeutics,” Zients told reporters at a White House briefing. “We can curb the spread of the virus without having to in any way shut down our economy.” U.S. regulators expanded eligibility for booster shots of COVID-19 vaccines to all adults on Friday, and 3 million people received them since, Zients said. “In fact, just across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we got 3 million booster shots into arms. A million booster shots per day,” he said. “Don’t delay, get your booster shot so you can have enhanced protection for COVID as we head into the winter.” Separately, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said U.S. health officials are not currently recommending lockdowns or economic restrictions to curb rising COVID-19 cases. Europe is once again the epicenter of the global pandemic with Austria reimposing full lockdown, riots breaking out in cities across the Netherlands over a partial lockdown, and many other countries imposing restrictions.
Questions of The Day!
Hi I love your show!! Since you’re not on YouTube anymore, I have problems with being able to listen to your wonderful production I have you on stitcher, but your show stops often and I can’t restore it. Do you have any suggestion for how I can listen to you from Florida? Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!!
What is your take on the presence of flouride in most municipal water supplies? Is this a common problem, in your estimation and if so, what are your suggestions to mitigate it? Is there a favored filter design or manufacturer you know much about which can successfully remove this?
Hi Super D & RSB!
I’m ready to submit my body to the purification of a coffee enema and would appreciate some recommendations on what coffee to use, if there’s a certain “administration system” you prefer, etc…
Thank you! Jane
(P.S. I searched your book before submitting my question and couldn’t find it.)
Can Cupping Improve COVID Vaccine Delivery? Until mRNA vaccines against COVID-19 emerged, RNA or DNA vaccines had not been used at a large scale even though the technology had existed for years. Now researchers are seeking ways to deliver these vaccines more efficiently, and they’ve found one: cupping, which is rooted in a practice used for centuries in China and the Middle East. The tradition typically involves placing heated cups on a person’s skin. As the air inside the cup cools, the air pressure under the cup drops. Practitioners believe that the resulting suction of the skin promotes healing, although evidence for its effectiveness is limited. But scientists suspected that the process might stimulate skin cells to soak up injected DNA as a vaccine or gene therapy. In the body, injected RNA usually degrades quickly if it’s unprotected. In the mRNA COVID vaccines, an oily droplet surrounds the mRNA, protecting it long enough to reach cells. DNA is less vulnerable to breakdown but faces a different problem: getting enough cells to take it up. Current methods to get DNA into cells include using an electric pulse to open an entry point for the DNA. But the side effects include muscle contractions, pain, and tissue damage, and the method isn’t usable in people with pacemakers or other electrical device implants.
