WE MADE IT TO DECEMBER AND PALINDROMES

Can you believe that we’re in the final month of 2021? I know people always say this, but this year has gone fast! Like really fast. That being said, I’m so happy to be in December! I always love this time of year, but this year this month is extra special! Why? Because it’s so palindromic!

Reminder- According to Google, a palindrome is “a word, phrase, or sequence that reads the same backward as forward, e.g., madam or nurses run.”

These 11 dates on the calendar this month are palindromes. Check it out!

12/1/21, 12/2/21, 12/3/21, 12/4/21, 12/5/21, 12/6/21, 12/7/21, 12/8/21, 12/9/21, 12/11/21, and 12/22/21.

Pretty awesome, right?

Fridays left before Christmas: 3

Let’s go!

GAME TIME!

December 4th is “National Cookie Day.” The largest funeral ever took place in India. If every attendee to the said funeral was given a cookie- how many cookies would have been given away? (Click to guess your answer)

a) 5 Million
b) 15 Million
c) 25 Million

100,000 WHAT?

100,000 of anything is a lot.

  • 100,000 seconds is equal to 27.7 hours.
  • 100,000 days is equal to 273.9 years.
  • 100,000 miles is equal to the length of the USA (coast to coast) 33 times over.

So, that’s why it’s awesome when we tell you that Parting Pro’s funeral homes have had over 100,000 families use their online arranger. That’s proof that it works, and it works well! They have a mission to skyrocket your cremation business without forcing you to hire any new employees. See for yourself how Parting Pro can work for you!

“The biggest innovation in deathcare in the past decade or two.”

MOST USED GIFS FOR FUNERAL PROFESSIONALS (RESPONDING TO BAD NEWS)

GIPHY.COM released its list of the most used GIFs this year. I’m obviously a HUGE fan of GIFs, so I wanted to share the top ones with all of y’all. That being said, if I just said “here are the top GIFS” I wouldn’t be doing my job. So, instead, I’ve looked at the top three used GIFs of 2021 and have crafted a scenario in which you could use it as a funeral professional.

FOR THE “ARE YOU SERIOUS” MOMENTS

For example: “Hey did you hear that our competitor just created a new package that’s even CHEAPER than their current discount option?”

FOR THE “I’M EXHAUSTED” MOMENTS

For example: “How do you think the new hire is feeling? They just did a double service AND their first early morning pick up!”

FOR THE “SERIOUSLY” MOMENTS

For example: “Hey I saw in the paper that the Jones family we’ve served for 50 years is using ‘XYZ’ for their rich grandma’s funeral.”

COMIC OF THE WEEK

The early bird gets the worm. The early hawk gets the bird.

YOU OTTER BE PROUD

Let’s be honest, our profession gets a lot of negative press, so we’ve searched the internet to find stories of funeral things getting respect, and doing great things!
