Consider Your Current Supports
Does your workplace already have support systems in order? Now is the time to evaluate them and see if they’re still useful. Take a good, hard look at these supports and don’t be afraid to discontinue anything that does more harm than good. After all, what’s the point of spending money on a wellness program that doesn’t work?
Track Your Changes
Once your program is implemented, be sure to check in with employees regularly. See who is participating and who isn’t. Are the participants satisfied? What is management’s involvement? And how much is the program costing the company?
Adjust As Needed
You probably won’t get everything right the first time and that’s completely okay. There is a certain level of trial and error involved in making sure you’re doing what’s best for your organization. That’s why measuring outcomes is so important. Having concrete data will show you what’s working and what isn’t so you can make adjustments as you go.
