Marquee wedding photography in Hampshire – Emily + Max
July rolls around and it’s time for some marquee wedding photography in Hampshire – Emily + Max’s quite incredible summer wedding day at Emily’s beautiful family home between Basingstoke and Alton.
This was a local one for me, just 15 minutes away, and it was the first weekend for 15 months where guest numbers were unlimited. That was quite something to see, after all that time of restriction, and constriction. Finally we had our days back, even if we would spend another 6 months nervously eyeing weekly reports to see if we could keep going. We did though, and what a year it turned out to be.
I arrived at a local pub to catch Max and his groomsmen enjoying a pre-wedding lunch, before heading just a couple of miles down the road to Emily and a house and gardens full of activity. Also a first for me, with a ceremony that took place on a church on the same land as the house the rest of the day would host. That meant we had just a short walk over to the church, and then the quite wonderful sight of 150 guests making their way through the beautiful gardens back for the rest of the day. A day that meant super speeches, wonderful food and drink, and a reminder of all the things we’d missed in the months that had passed since it all first hit.
At the centre was elegance. Elegance in the name of Emily and Max. A couple with an incredible future, and the promise of a wonderful life together. This, this right here, is what it’s all really about. I could not ask for better days than this…..thank you both so much.
