New Year’s Eve: How to ring in 2022 at Southern California casinos

If you’re considering heading to one of Southern California’s casinos to ring in the New Year, you can expect live entertainment from jazz to R&B, as well as some tasty and elegant food options. Some restaurants encourage reservations, so be sure to visit their website or call for more information.

Front Desk Area: DJ Kid Jay, who was DJ for George Lopez’s “Lopez Tonight” talk show on TBS and for the Los Angeles Lakers, will play a set at the front desk area. 9 p.m. Free. 21 and older.

Good Times Café: If a DJ set and R&B aren’t your jams, The Mockery Band will perform jazz-infused covers at the Good Times Café. 9 p.m. Free. 21 and older.

Casino Morongo: The New Vibe, a new age, psychedelic funk band will have you grooving into the new year at the sister property next door. 9 p.m. Free. 21 and older.

Pechanga Café: New Year’s Eve specials include quinoa salad with baby spinach, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, cashews, almonds and sweet potato in a citrus vinaigrette ($12); entrée of filet mignon topped with lobster meat and béarnaise sauce served with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus ($58); dessert of red grapefruit meringue tart.
