New Yezdi Adventure Bike
If you saw the main image for this article and thought I’d made a typo, you’re probably not the first. The new Yezdi Adventure bike looks very similar to a Royal Enfield. Is that the point? Maybe. I’m not about picking sides in the war against what ADV bikes are the best. Instead, I’ll outline the specs for the New Yezdi Adventure, and let you do the comparing.
First off, the Yezdi website is missing a few key details on this bike; for example, it doesn’t distinguish whether the Adventure’s weight—414 pounds—is wet or dry. Nor does it tell us what rpm is reached during maximum torque. I’m sure these are just an editor’s oversight and will be cleared up in the near future. Here’s what we do know:
Yezdi Adventure Specs
Weight: 414 pounds
Capacity: 334 cc
Max Power: 30.2 ps
Max Torque: 29.9 nm
Wheelbase: 1465 mm
Bore Stroke: 81 x 65
Wheelset: 90/90-21 inches front; 130/80-17 inches rear
Fuel range: 4 gallons
Seat height: 32 inches
Liquid-cooled, single cylinder
Disc brakes, front and rear
ABS (unclear if this is on/off)
The Indian price of the Yezdi Adventure equals roughly $2,800, but as the bike is not yet available in the US, its cost will jump considerably when it does come to North America.
If there’s any concern about competition, this may be the one strong advantage Royal Enfield has on Yezdi—its wider availability in other markets. Still, I’m sure there are many riders keeping an eye out for this cool-looking adventure bike to hit a dealership closer to home.
