Omega - Seamaster Professional Diver 300M Green
Omega enriched its Seamaster collection with a new Seamaster Professional Diver 300M model characterised by a striking shade of green.
The watch comes in a 42 mm x 13.56 mm stainless case equipped with a uni-directional rotating bezel integrating a polished green ceramic ring filled with a white enamel diving scale and a SuperLumiNova luminescent dot at 12 o'clock. The helium valve at 10 o’clock has been given a conical shape and has been patented by Omega with a new technology that allows it to be operated underwater. Its water resistance is 300 metres / 1,000 feet.
Protected by a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, the dial is made from green ceramic enhanced by a polished finish and the signature the wavy pattern. Like the raised indexes, the large skeleton hands are filled with Super-LumiNova. A date aperture at 6 o'clock completes the ensemble.
The wave-patterned edge on the caseback frames a sapphire crystal which displays the Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, an automatic movement beating at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of 55 hours. It features a free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring and it is enhanced by rhodium plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.
Movement and watch are tested according to the Master Chronometer certification process approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) whose testing criteria include: the average daily precision of the whole watch, precision of the movement when it is not yet cased (like COSC), deviation of daily precision after exposure to 15,000 gauss magnetic field, precision when the movement is fully wound or near to the end of the power reserve, waterproofness, and anti-magnetic resistance of the movement alone as well as of the entire watch.
The new Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300M has a price of Euro 5,400 / US$ 5,100 with an integrated green rubber strap (ref. 18.104.22.168.10.001) or Euro 5,800 / US$ 5,400 with a metal bracelet that includes Omega’s patented extendable foldover rack-and-pusher with a diver extension (ref. 22.214.171.124.10.001).
