COVID Medical Resources

The following protocols are for educational purposes. They are not meant to replace the medical advice from a qualified physician, but will give you some ideas as to how to start the conversation. Dr. Paisios gives a wonderful discussion of these in the Webinar. As Dr. Paisios made clear, we are just at the beginning stages of understanding the injections and the SARS-CoV-2. Science changes based on new facts, so we recommend keeping up-to-date.

Evolving Remedies for “Vaccinated” and Long COVID:

For those who have taken one of the shots, and would like to “detox” from the spike protein.

  1. NAC
  2. Black cumin seed oil
  3. Elderberry
  4. Pine needle tea
  5. EGCG
  6. Vitamin C — 500 mg twice daily
  7. Omega-3 Fatty Acids — 4 gm/daily (Vascepa, Lovaza, or DHA/EPA)
  8. Melatonin — 2–10 mg nightly, start with low dose, increase as tolerated in absence of sleep disturbance.
  9. Vitamin D3 — 2,000–4,000 IU daily
  10. Ashwegandha
  11. Kalmegh(andrigraphis paniculata)
  12. Bio Complete 3 Gundry MD
  13. Self blood donation every 56 days (This was surprising for us, but Dr. Paisios makes a very good case for the health benefits of blood donation, particularly as it removes spike protein.)
  14. Ivermectin 0.2 mg/kg for first 5 days then 2 times per week, discontinue after 2-4 weeks

COVID Protocol for Omicron

Peace be with you and your family☦ May God bless you and keep you by His grace. The list below is a COVID protocol for the Omicron variant (which will replace delta soon), please stock up on the over the counter (OTC) items. Omicron will infect everyone regardless of natural immunity or vaccines.

Omicron is a mild upper respiratory disease comparable to a common cold. Generally lasts from 4-5 days, one should stay home when sick with symptoms.

Protocol for SYMPTOMATIC COVID Omicron variant.

Symptoms:

  1. Sore throat
  2. Headache
  3. Body aches
  4. Runny nose
  5. Mild fever, if any
  6. Fatigue, very common

Omicron stays in the upper airway it rarely goes into the chest.

FIRST: Drink Holy water every morning. Receive Holy Unction if you can. Say your prayers with prostrations.

  1. THEN:
    Zinc 50 mg per day
    Vit-D3 10000 IU per day
Quercetin 600 mg 2xs per day
Vitamin C 1000 mg per day
    Pepcid AC
  2. Plus nasal wash – Povidone-Iodine at any pharmacy follow directions in photo
  3. Oscillococcinum.

If by day 7-8 respiratory issues develop (coughing, wheezing, trouble breathing, shortness of breath) this represents a hypersensitivity reaction (hyper inflammation) additional meds are necessary (Doctors Rx needed for some).

  1. Prednisone (5mg) or Solu-Medrol injection (60mg) or Methylprednisolone 4mg tabs 12 day tapered dose 6qdx2d, 5qdx2d…
  2. Zyrtec/Claritin double dose per day
    Monoleukast (Singulair)
    Aspirin 325 mg per day
    Cont Pepcid AC

At risk patients:
In patients who are elderly with co-morbidities (hypertension, chronic lung diseases, obesity, diabetes, etc.) A round of ONLY GSK Sotroimab (Xevudy) monoclonal antibody therapy will help. Note – we do not believe the use of aborted fetal cell lines are an issue here, but speak with your priest or a competent spiritual authority to make sure there have been no surprises about the sourcing. DFW infusion center is here. Check with your state’s health department for infusion centers in your state. Plus OTC cold remedies above.

LAST:
Prayers daily to the Theotokos, your patron Saint and Our Lord Jesus Christ to help, protect and save us! You should also considering adding prayers to Saint Nikēphóros the Leper. As part of the Webinar, Fr. Seraphim explains how he highly encourages seeking this saint’s prayers for health.

COVID Protocol for Delta Variant

The protocol below is for Delta not Omicron. This protocol is meant to be followed with the care of a physician. The Delta variant  will burn out soon, but you may still experience it. Please stock up on the over the counter (OTC) items.

Protocol for SYMPTOMATIC Covid Delta variant (not Omicron):

FIRST: Drink Holy water every morning. Receive Holy Unction if you can. Say your prayers with prostrations.

  1. THEN:
    Zinc 100 mg per day
Vit-D3 40000-50000 IU for first 3 days then 20000 IU per day
Quercetin 600 mg 2xs per day
Vitamin C 3000 mg per day
Aspirin 325 mg pre day with food, unless you have a blood thinning issue. Take for the next 90 days with food!!!! (very important)
Betadine (povidone iodine) mouthwash (0.5%) am and pm (very important swish for 30s) found online https://www.amazon.com/ref=navm_hdr_logo and in most pharmacies.
Plus nasal wash – Povidone-Iodine at any pharmacy follow directions in photo
  2. Pepcid AC take as directed
    Melatonin 6mg-10mg at night
Mucinex DM For congestion and cough

Regarding the above vitamins and OTC items, divide up during the day and take with food to prevent an upset stomach!

If you become nauseated take Pepto-Bismol and/or Dramamine.

Musts:

  1. Fresh air, NO MASKS.
  2. Walk do not stay in bed all day. Prolonged bed rest will cause the lungs to open less (collapse), the opposite of want we want.
  3. At night, windows open if you have a fan turn it on high (for the first 6-8 days)
  4. No sugars. No sugary drinks or foods high in sugar i.e. No potatoes, rice, pasta, bread or fruits. You want to be on a Keto diet (protein and fat). Limit food to proteins and fats (Avocados) and nuts, around 1000-1500 calories per day.
  5. Drink plenty of water! Electrolyte infused water best! (i.e. SmartWater)

Purchase a pulse oximeter (good quality, not one made in China) to monitor oxygen saturation, note: make sure your finger nail has no nail polish on it. Normal pulse ox reading is above 94%, you want readings in the 95+ area.

If oxygen is below or equal to 94% use prone (on belly) positioning or Supine (on back) positioning with knees bent. Plus below exercises. Breathing exercises are a must:

1. Inhale through nose, deeply, and hold for 5 sec, then exhale through mouth, do this 5 times. Then one more time but at the end cough. Don’t stop due to coughing… Its ok, this will help loosen any mucus that has built up in your lungs

2. Spirometer “ball toy” breathing exercise, after a series of 10 inhalations, coughing should be prompted to further clear the lungs of phlegm. It is advised to repeat incentive spirometer use for at least ten deep breaths every hour while awake. During this exercise you may feel lightheaded when you breathe in deeply for this exercise. If you feel dizzy or like you’re going to pass out, stop the exercise and rest.

If oxygen saturation is still below 95 rent/buy: Home oxygenator humidified 5L with high flow nasal cannula. Start at 2 L and experiment until the desired 95+ O2 level.

Prescription medicines from your primary doc:

  1. Azithromycin 250mg twice daily OR Doxycycline 100mg twice daily
  2. Symbicort 160/4.5 two puffs every 12 hours
  3. Ivermectin by body weight.
  4. Hydroxycholroquine HCQ 200 mg twice per day
  5. Fluvoxamine 50 mg 2 x daily for 10 days
  6. Nebulizer with Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and Iodine (1%-3% H2O2 in a 3:1 ratio with normal saline:H2O2 plus one drop of iodine) nebulize 3-4 times per day for 15-20 min, the H2O2 acts as a viricidal/anti-inflammatory within the lungs! Also Budesonide (0.5mg, 60ml solution) and Glutathione (300mg buffered caps dissolved in sterile saline) can be nebulized

If by day 5 through 10 you develop lung issues (coughing, wheezing, trouble breathing, abnormal chest x-ray, shortness of breath with oxygen saturations below 94%) you must get on steroids:

  1. Prednisone (5mg) or Solu-Medrol injection (60mg) or Methylprednisolone 4mg tabs 12 day tapered dose 6qdx2d, 5qdx2d…..
  2. If available, ONLY GSK Sotroimab (Xevudy) monoclonal antibody therapy, all other monoclonals are ineffective. Note – we do not believe the use of aborted fetal cell lines are an issue here, but speak with your priest or a competent spiritual authority to make sure there have been no surprises about the sourcing.

Orthodox Spiritual Resources

Fr. Seraphim and Fr. Alexander highly recommend reading the lives of the saints on a daily basis. Father Seraphim provided these two recommendations:

I read this daily:

https://sebastianpress.org/the-synaxarion-the-lives-of-the-saints-of-the-orthodox-church-complete-set/

The Prologue is also very good, and much cheaper:

https://sebastianpress.org/the-prologue-of-ohrid-lives-of-saints-hymns-reflections-and-homilies-for-every-day-of-the-year/

Fr. Alexander has a new book coming out from Uncut Mountain Press called Let No One Fear Death. The book will cover all aspects of the Pandemic, featuring a chapter by Dr. Paisios and a section by Metropolitan Jonah. Fr. Alexander read just the subject sentences from Metropolitan Jonah on the Webinar and they were excellent! We will be adding additional information as it is available.

Legal Resources

Orthodox Reflections has two pages dedicated to Religious Exemptions. One has information about religious exemptions and templates for letters notifying an employer of your exemption. We have also compiled a page providing suggestions how to answer HR questions. As Dragos made clear in the Webinar, your employer can probe the sincerity of your beliefs, but cannot judge the validity of your beliefs. Dragos has done work with the Liberty Counsel. We highly recommend their resources as well. If you have specific questions for Dragos, please email us or post them below as comments.
