Police suspect foul play after homeless man’s body found in Sherman Oaks
A 42-year-old homeless man was found dead in northern Sherman Oaks on Monday, Jan. 17, and authorities were investigating his death as a homicide.
The man was “known to live on the streets in the Van Nuys area,” and found dead just before 8:40 a.m. in a parking structure located in the 5700 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. His name was not immediately released pending notification of his next of kin.
The man who died suffered injuries that may have been “caused by a vehicle,” police said. Investigators suspect foul play may have been involved in his death.
