Sony is finally offering PS4 Remote Play application compatibility with almost all Android 5.0 or a more recent version of Android running devices.

You’ll now be able to stream and play any Playstation 4 games on your Android smartphone or tablet through Sony’s PS4 Remote Play app even if it isnt an Xperia devices. Until this month this feature was only available exclusively to Xperia handheld owners (officially, because unofficially some of XDA Developers forum Android users have had a way around it to be able to play remotely).

Please note that the app works only after you’ve set it up on your mobile devices and also updated your Playstation 4 firmware to version 7.00.

Android 10 and iOS 13 devices will also allow to connect a DualShock 4 controller via Bluetooth for an even better remote mobile gaming experience.
