Cuban dissident Tania Bruguera reports strange electronic sound penetrating her home, causing headaches
Looks like Cuba’s socialist dictatorship is once again launching “sonic attacks” on its enemies. Cuban dissident Tania Bruguera reported last night that a high-pitched electronic sound was penetrating her home and causing her headaches. Bruguera took to Facebook early Sunday morning to report the loud, high-pitched sound, saying the pulsing tone was similar to a cricket, but sounded electronic and too loud to be natural (via Facebook – my translation):
“Does anyone recognize this sound? It’s like a cricket, but electronic and too loud, it can’t be natural and comes on every other minute more or less and lasts a minute, a minute and 16 seconds, a minute and 21 seconds. I have such a headache and my ears can’t take this anymore. The recording can’t capture the real volume of the sound, which is loud and penetrating.”
Here is Bruguera’s recording of the sound:
Bruguera’s description of the sound and its effects on the human body is very similar if not identical to what American diplomats in Havana reported back in 2016 and 2017. The Americans described metallic, electronic sounds similar to crickets that caused headaches and nausea. Medical examinations of the diplomats when they were evacuated revealed some of them had actually suffered brain damage from the so-called sonic attacks.
The similarities between the “sonic attacks” on American diplomats in Havana and the apparent attack on Bruguera were quickly confirmed by her sister Deborah Bruguera on Facebook (my translation):
“We have confirmed the sound recorded by my sister is identical to what the workers at the American embassy in Havana heard and according to the investigation has been designated some type of sonic weapon. There is no doubt now…”
While Cuba’s Castro dictatorship continues to use “sonic attacks” on its domestic enemies and foreign diplomats, the regime still claims it has no idea what is causing it. The Cuban dictatorship, with the help of the international “scientific” community, has blamed it on crickets, on “mass hysteria,” and even on the CIA. Meanwhile, people in Cuba continue to be victimized by the Castro regime.
