Use those scraps on your next card project!

Today I have a fun, graphic card project featuring the coolest die*—that ships free with any $60 purchase while supplies last this month—from MFT Stamps (seriously, the typography!) and a stash of cardstock scraps pulled right from the scrap bin.

You can do this technique with any type of die, really. I chose to use the negative space from this particular die, cutting it out of a panel of white cardstock and then adding color with strips of cardstock from my scrap bins. I created the sentiment using the Birthday Notes stamps set, also new from MFT Stamps.

Here is a video tutorial showing you how I created the project!

The simple repetition of silver sequins adds a bit of shine and rhythm to the card and I love the clean lines of the white margin on the card base. It’s so simple but packs such a clean, graphic punch!

The You Take the Cake die is a freebie this month while supplies last but will be a regular shop item beginning in March!

Thanks so much for stopping by! And check out the whole new release from MFT Stamps today!
