The Word of Honor 山河令 concert is set to take the stage this May 3. One day before the concert proper, fans put on a drone light show that illuminated the night sky at the Bund in Shanghai. Along with fans on site, over 6 million people who tuned in via livestream saw bright lights spelling out the beloved characters of Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing as well as the actors’ names Simon Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan among others. The lights also took the shape of meaningful items belonging to the main protagonists such as a wine flask, a jade flute and a fan.

It was truly a magical moment for Word of Honor fans with the music also playing in the background. While the light show is certainly nothing less than impressive, fans have also gone for the more traditional route of arranging for Word of Honor ads to be plastered all over buses, bus stops, buildings and subways in Suzhou where the concert will be held. It can be remembered that The Untamed fans also banded together in support of the farewell concert two years ago. This time around, the scale of the overwhelming support from Word of Honor fans has also gotten them trending on social media.

The fan support is reportedly through the efforts of Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun’s respective fandoms as well as couple (CP) fans and brands.
