This great page for Bear by Julie (aka Maggie Mae) caught my heart as well as my eye.

With its subtle diagonal detailing, and the layers to the side of the photo it is a delightful layout even before you get to the wonderful journaling.

It provided lots of inspiration for Mollie, Beckie and me. Maybe it will for you too?

Here’s what we came up with:

Credit: layout by me (Lynn), “Blue Bird element pack” and “Pocket Cards Vintage No.03″ by Katie Pertiet, “Inky Dink Page Borders” and “June” kit by Lynn Grieveson.

Mollie’s subtle painterly brushwork adds a real wow factor to her great layout:

Credits: layout  by Mollie, Circle Messages Vol.2, Photography Hand-drawn Brushes and Travel Hand-drawn brushes by Ali Edwards, Collage Ephemera No.01, Honor Layered template, Textured Cardstock: Faded Berry and Wonder Years Layered Template by Katie Pertiet.

While Beckie created a multi-photo layout with lots of wonderful layering:

Credits: layout by Beckie, Rustica Kit by Lynn Grieveson, Sun Porch clusters, Vintage Charm elements, Filed Photo Frames No.03, Photobooth frames No.02, Quirky Banner strips No.01, Pine Creek elements, DelMar Shores roughed up paperpack, and Page Blends No.01.
