skype kind of freeze during mid of online session (everytime)

My wife uses endea linux xfce.. in the mid of skype session, it freezes.. (but not all freezed), the audio from skype session still available, but she can't mute and unmute mic .. both time, after she muted her mic when no need, she can't turn it back on. any idea how to troubleshooot ? or solve the problem ? I have reinstalled the skype package twice, but still the same. anybody has encountered such issue ? Thx

adjust display screen on cli for arch based linux

I have enter the cli as such.. But i don't get it why my eDP1 screen is still not +0+0 (xy coordinate)? I would like to install a program onto a different partition from my home drive. My current home drive is 465 GiB on sda4 and I have a 1.26 TiB partition on sda5,I could shrink the one and expand the other which would give me more space on sda4 or can I install the programs into sda5 with a link in sda4.
