Because of subjective factors, such as qualities, abilities, or is there another objective force that shapes the path of each of us? Famous in Vietnamese journalism with a sharp perspective on social security issues, Mr. Dinh Duc Hoang is a former Editor in charge of VnExpress's Opinion column.
In his writings, Mr. Dinh Duc Hoang chooses to feature the viewpoints of the working class and assertively raises his concerns on existing issues in society. One topic of particular interest to him is "meritocracy", how it can amplify inequality and systematic discrimination, especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
